Rochester, MI (October 10, 2016) — The Rochester Junior Woman’s Club is grateful to all of the community members who came out to support their 18th annual Lobster Boil on Saturday, September 24th. The event was a great success, selling more than 1200 lobsters!

From September to June the club donated almost than $28,000 to charitable organizations, they provided more than 5,000 hands-on volunteer hours to the community and they managed to have a little fun in the process as well!

(Rochester, MI – June 6, 2016) In 1956, 16 Rochester women; Robin Blanton, Joan Brann, Marilyn Brooks, Mary Burke, Mary Eberline, Peg Fetterly, Eveline Goble, Pat Henry, Ruth Herkless, Helen Mair, Kathy Crowe McAfee, Tommy Nirider, Gwen Ott, Ibbie Price, Leonore Talley and Katy Upton, came together to help the Rochester community be a better place to live.
